Okay, so this post would cause some to see me as "self-righteous". Well, from what I was told about the past and with my little experience, I can say, things have really changed. Change is good, but certain kind of change isn’t, e.g. change like homosexuals hiding to homosexuals having campaigns, change like a thief being locked up/hanged/gunned down to a thief being promoted or elected, change like Virginity being a thing of pride to virginity being a stigma, “wall of shame”. This brings me to our discussion.
Now, before you jump the gun, am not here to condemn or commend anyone on what’s not or is. TRUTH is my intention.
Really what has happened to us? The answer is FAMILIARITY, Yes, we have gotten too familiar with GOD that we have no respect for him at all; we think we do, but we don’t, we are all guilty as charged. Am going to be very thorough with the LADIES, because if you don’t give in, then the men would back down.

Why have we gotten to use to free sex, it’s okay, it’s our life to live blablablah# . Well it’s not okay, forget about being African or Western… are we Christ-like or what? If you aren’t, I advise you read no further because we who are Christ-like have a custom, a culture, a manual, yes, the BIBLE.
What happened to those biblical characters? Esther, Mary, Elizabeth, Rachel, Sarah, the list goes on… the bible told us to look up to these women as role models, instead we have godless role models all over the Media/TV shows spitting their immorality into our heads.
A generation of ladies who have no self-pride, self-respect, dignity, and want instant gratification. Ladies full of worldliness, lust for sex and money, ADDICTS. Ladies who have been brain washed with immoral doctrines, the church isn’t even helping matters, as long as you pay your tithes, put your offerings and don’t pester the welfare unit, it’s cool. The Shepherds don’t even care where and how their flocks get their meal from.
Stories were told of how single ladies didn’t dare to look at a married man in the face, but now? We have sugar daddies, a young lady slapping and controlling a married man young or old enough to be her brother or father…. Seriously?... and we all just don’t see anything wrong in it, after all, were “civilized” yea?!
Ladies leave them married men alone, you say “they are the ones pursuing me, can’t help that am pretty daww!” well daww! Yourself, newsflash doll, Men pursue anyone in skirts, but still some of us haven’t and will not give in. block them on any social network, avoid contacts/calls/SMS, don’t allow them use you to disrespect their wives. They’ll tell you their wives are terrors, didn’t they know it before getting married, and it’s a “for better or worse matter”, some would even say they seek peace, babe, you aren’t the Holy Spirit. Have you not read and heard that “you reap what you sow?!” o yes dolls, we all shall.
Ladies stop being a wife to a man who hasn’t “wifed” you yet, no dey fall our hands nah. Stop sleeping around with alhaji’s, senators, ministers, all the ogas at the top etc… for what, fake fashion lifestyle/being on the magazine, Medias? You are worth more than that. Okay fine, seems we aren’t scared of the whole ‘Jesus is coming soon’ chorus, but dear, you really should be, 99 days for the thief one day for the owner, have you thought of maybe dying after the act, then what? You lose your soul, life in eternity burning… haba babe, is it worth it? When you can be patient and wait. Money comes and goes, let’s be patient to earn a Godly income.

We have forgotten that this same God we dance to by calling him a friend is also a consuming fire, the rock of ages, the alpha and omega, your creator, my creator, the ultimate judge. We go about doing what we please and damming the consequences, we sing rock songs about partying in hell as though it’s air conditioned. We’ve broken Gods heart over and over again. We’ve lost that sacred virtue, yes; VIRGINITY is a virtue for every lady. It’s a promise God saw we deserved, not because he is being wicked as to stop you from enjoying sex, but he trusted that you would wait till He finds a partner suitable for you to give it to, and even with that, you don’t lose it per say because you kept it for the right purpose.
Am not saying ladies be arrogant and shove it down peoples throat because you’re a virgin. Let’s not be like Peninnah who kept mocking Hannah for being childless. Its good you’ve kept yourself, be proud of it by not letting anyone make you feel like a 21st century fool. If you have lost it, you can seek forgiveness and be a new refined person.
This is a subject matter we shouldn’t get tired of addressing. Our generation needs to hear of this, our kids depend on us to pass on this Virtue, it shouldn’t be lost. We need not only tell our kids stories of FROZEN, SNOWWHITE, CINDARELLA etc. but also teach them about how the peasant girl Hadassah was raised to become the queen Esther and saved her people from destruction. We need Godly female leaders who would sprout up Godly seeds; we need nurture the ESTHERs, SARAHs, and RUTHs. its our God given responsibility, if we fail in grooming ourselves, then what hope do they have?
