Well, the years have graciously passed by, and one secret I've come to know is this;
To Enjoy Your Own Company means you're able to derive joy, pleasure & satisfaction from within. It means to laugh, sigh, cry, humour & just tease yourself. That your Happiness isn't dependent on anyone or thing, because you're your own Sunshine.
"Singleness" is the period in which, being Self-centered with respect to your dreams, goals & aspirations isn't frowned at. You get to think, decide & actively work your Career path/Calling _ It's simply the best time to Nurse your own Ambitions.
Pin down those disturbing thoughts, cos it would crop-up, and use this time to really understand the transition that happens from 'ME-MYSELF-&-I' to 'WE-OURSELVES-&-US'. Believe me, you can't afford to do as you please without considering how it'll affect your spouse, kid(s), your families & the Church.
As I try to gather my thoughts, I quickly recall speaking at a talk-show on 'Being Single'. [Read Previous Articles: THE SINGLE IN WAITING and ON BEING SINGLE:IT'S NOT A DISEASE]. The tenacity in my voice - 😤uh! I never knew then, God would use those words to test me😂.

Learn to Trust God completely when he says 'Wait'. Agree to settle only on His terms, and if marriage doesn't seem to happen? Com'on now, what can separate you from God's Love? [OK! Cry & Panic alittle😅] But Hey! Shortly after that, Shake it off & Trust the path He is leading you on.
Yes! Being single at 20 or 25 is very different from being single at 30 or 40, but understand that, just like Job or Abraham? your greatest fear is nothing but a trial of Faith. Face & sacrifice those fears on the altar or you'll remain slave to it. Our Love for God shouldn't be conditional. Whether or not he grants us our hearts desire, nothing should separate us from his love.
Allow God interrupt your 'Single-Me-Doing-Purpose' to hook you up. Its not a competition, so please take your time, groom yourself, and should you ever feel Sad about your single status? Literally snap your finger & say; "HEY! BE HAPPY, ENJOY YOUR OWN COMPANY". Remember God is faithful & He sure Loves You.
